About Me

My research focuses on developing and testing implementation strategies to support data-driven decision making and service integration into the Primary Health Care framework as a means of increasing the coverage and quality of evidence-based interventions, including the Systems Analysis and Improvement Approach.

I have led the development of implementation science training curricula at the University of Washington Department of Global Health, including the development of the PhD program in implementation science in 2012. I also direct the Implementation Science Core of the NIH-supported UW/FH Center for AIDS Research, as well as the Research Alliance in Implementation Science to End HIV (RAISE) Hub. I received my PhD in Epidemiology and MPH in International Health/Health Services from the University of Washington, and a BA in Anthropology/Sociology from Kenyon College.
