Sub-award funding has been granted to Dr. David Watkins by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for "Utilizing Technology to Facilitate Active Case Detection and Decentralized Dynamic Registry to Improve the Uptake of Rheumatic Heart Disease Secondary Prevention (ADD-RHD)."

 

Abstract:

Dr. David Watkins, MD, MPH, will serve as PI on this contract to the University of Washington and will take full responsibility for all aspects of the research conducted at the University of Washington. This will include (i) intellectual contribution to the design, conduct, analysis, and writeup of research activities relating to population health and implementation science, (ii) supervision of a research assistant at the University of Washington who will assist with data analysis, and (iii) remote mentorship of research Center fellows.
