Implementation Science Program Staff

I am a medical anthropologist by training with extensive academic administrative experience, and I use these skills to improve the reach and impact of the Department of Global Health Implementation Science Program. I am responsible for all administrative aspects of the program, as well as the content, design, and functioning of this website, ImpSciUW.org. This role has also included the creation and maintenance of additional project websites such as OPTICC.org, mhImpact.org, and ImpSciMethods.org, as well as work as a staff researcher and project manager on NIH-funded grants. Additionally, I support Program Director Bryan Weiner’s research and academic portfolio with graphic design, presentation preparation, and copyediting services, and provide financial administration for the Implementation Science in Global Health Summer Institute. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State University and my Master of Science in Medical Anthropology from Durham University (England).

I am a public health professional experienced in community and global health research program development with a passion for improving access to quality health care for women and children. My work has included coordination with state and local stakeholders to disperse microgrants, including the development of grant reporting tools for grantees, as well as assisting in research and manuscript development of a 5-year regional QIC evaluation Project to improve efficiency and quality of HIV/TB services in Tanzania. Across these and other projects, I also use my skills in qualitative data management/analysis, academic writing, and survey design and management. I am also an experienced facilitator on Adverse Childhood Events and trauma-informed approaches. I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and my Master of Public Health from Baylor University.
